It is part of an ongoing series of Fine Art Nature Photos which showcases the beauty of Ireland through lesser known vignettes and intimate scenes. The series looks to explore ideas and to tell the story of connection through nature and the passing of time.

A Return To Self
The thud and slap of malleable grains,
Congealed into slabs of pulsating form,
Sunken feet scooped below,
Stirring the surge of what lies beneath.
A salten breeze calls for youth,
My child.....
Spawned of an innate truth,
Those fertile tides are awash with memory,
Spraying pearls formed of brine and self,
To taste the sweat of the mystical soup,
A listless limb,
Adrift,
Anew.
Soon a vast swell will begin to sail,
As horizons wane beyond engulfing proof,
A breath affirmed by pull of the moon,
Release unto me,
Ebb and flow,
Ebb and flow,
Ebb and flow,
Pondering where?
Why?
Did all that time go.
